McVitie’s announces brand new White Chocolate Digestives
Good news for all the tea and biccy lovers out there (read: everyone) – the ultimate dunkable biscuits are now available in a brand new flavour.
Yup – McVitie’s has brought out white chocolate digestives, and ngl, they look delicious.
The new, sweeter, Digestives join the plain, milk chocolate, double chocolate, caramel and dark chocolate Digestives already on shelves around the UK.
And, McVitie’s said, they’re here to stay. None of that limited edition business here!
Make no mistake, UK shoppers are buzzing about the news.
‘We NEED to find these!’ wrote one Instagram user on a post announcing the new flavours – and they were far from the only person to share that sentiment.
‘Ooohhhh my!’ wrote another. We concur!
Another woman tweeted the brand after seeing the biscuits rumoured on Instagram saying: ‘Please tell me this is true @McVities. I have kids who’ve turned to adults waiting for this and they still need them.’
Someone else shared a picture of the biscuits on Twitter, adding: ‘My dream has come true…thank you @McVities from the bottom of my heart.’
Aslı Özen Turhan, chief marketing officer at pladis UK&I said: ‘Our customers have been asking for White Chocolate Digestives for a while and we’re excited to finally bring them to the shelves!
‘Knowing how much people love white chocolate and having new sweet treats to try, we couldn’t wait to make this highly anticipated addition to the Digestives family.’
You can buy a packet of White Chocolate Digestives in Sainsbury’s for now, but they’ll be coming to other UK supermarkets including Co-op, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons very soon.
