Matt Hancock’s girlfriend told he’s in ‘good spirits’ on I’m A Celeb
Tonight, Matt Hanock, 44, entered the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp alongside comedian Seann Walsh, 36, and he is already set to face hell in his first Bushtucker Trial, voted by the public. Ahead of his debut on the show, a source claimed his girlfriend Gina Coladangelo has been in touch with bosses about his welfare.
It is believed Gina, who he was caught kissing on CCTV last year, has been kept updated about his trials and how he’s been getting on.
A source told The Sun: “She was told Matt was in good spirits – even though the trial was a rotter.
“Everything he does in terms of trials will be relayed back to Matt’s family.
“It means there are no surprises in the show for those watching back at home.”

They went on to say other contestants’ loved ones were receiving the same treatment, including Seann’s girlfriend Grace Adderley.
The call is reportedly there to keep families and friends aware of what is happening as no phones are allowed in camp.
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Matt for comment.
A spokesperson for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! declined to confirm or deny whether the report is true.
According to the Daily Star, Gina will fly out to Australia to support him.
Matt recently said he was “deeply in love” with Gina, as he discussed when they first met.
Speaking to Steven Bartlett on the Diary of a CEO podcast, the MP said: “I’ve known Gina for more than half of my life.
“We first actually worked together on student radio back in the Oxford days. And so, we spent a lot of time together, ironically, trying to get me to be able to communicate in a more emotionally intelligent way.
“And we fell in love. And that’s something that was completely outside of my control. And of course, I regret the pain that that’s caused and the very, very, very public nature.
“Anybody who’s been through this knows how difficult it is, how painful it is doing that in public is incredibly painful, but I fell in love with someone.”
Matt met his campmates for the first time this evening and not everyone was impressed to see him.
Boy George didn’t hold back as he told him he was “going to get it” from the public after his breach of rules.
Charlene White also questioned why he had chosen to sign up for the show, to which he replied he wanted viewers to see the real him.
Ant and Dec later revealed that he and Seann are up for their first Bushtucker Trial, voted by the public.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.
