They are left dealing with the intense pressures of their incredibly busy NHS life as well as the everyday goings-on at home.

Nevertheless, viewers were delighted to see that onscreen lovers Jack Oliviera and Catherine MacDiarmid are actually together offscreen.

The duo play ex-lovers and love interests in the ITV drama.

The actress Lara Pulver and fellow Spooks actor Raza Jaffrey have been married since 2014.

It is the first time that Lara and her second husband Raza Jaffrey have acted together professionally. While they both starred in Spooks, they were on the show at different times.
