Readers know various Hulk personas like Joe Fixit, Grey Hulk and Kluh, but in Hulk #6, Marvel introduces the giant’s deadliest: Titan.
Marvel Comics is about to introduce readers to the deadliest Hulk there ever was.
Though there have been a few versions of the green goliath over the years, the upcoming Hulk #6 promises to unveil a new Hulk persona: Titan. Writer Donny Cates and artist Ryan Ottley reshaped the Hulk in the title by transforming him into a cyborg with a fractured mind. While Bruce Banner’s mind pilots the “Starship Hulk,” the rage monster is locked away to fuel Starship Hulk with his rage. However, the previous issue saw a psyche manifesting itself as Betty Ross kick Banner out of the captain’s chair and crank the Hulk’s rage up to even higher levels, bringing readers to the debut of the deadly Titan on Wednesday. There is more releasing from Marvel next week though.
Also out next week is Captain America #0, the start of two brand new titles for Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson — Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty and Captain America: Symbol of Truth, respectively. There hasn’t been a Captain America ongoing series since writer Ta-Nehisi Coates’ run with the character ended in July 2021, but now readers will have two ongoings to dive into. Captain America #0 will serve as the precursor to both, though Symbol of Truth is not set to release until May 11 and Sentinel of Liberty until June 15.
In addition to Hulk and Captain America, Marvel fans can pick up Doctor Strange: Nexus of Nightmares #1, a Deadpool/Wolverine team-up in Wolverine #20 and more. The full list of releases can be found alphabetically below, covers and solicitations included.
