Marks and Spencers shoppers are starting to prepare for the Coronation with commemorative decor, and one of the first launches is already proving popular.
King Charles’ Coronation is taking place on May 6, 2023, and many are planning parties and collecting souvenirs ahead of the big day.
M&S has launched £10 Coronation Light Up Candles featuring an illustrated design, which are perfect keepsakes for remembering the day the King is crowned for many years to come.
As the unique items are on sale earlier than most Coronation-themed products, they are likely to be popular, so stock may not be available for long.

The candle design features an illustration of Westminster Abbey along with three guards and a hot air balloon pulling a ‘God Save the King’ banner.
In addition to being a great decorative item to commemorate the occasion, the candle also has a fresh and herbal scent that is perfect for spring, with notes of zesty neroli, lime and bergamot.
The most unique aspect of the candles are the LED lights that are built into the walls and are triggered when lighting the wick.
The candles are already starting to rack up reviews on the M&S website, with some calling it ‘really pretty’.
