Maricel Soriano, Paulo Avelino, Kim Chiu, JM de Guzman lead cast of new series ‘Linlang’

Maricel Soriano, Paulo Avelino, Kim Chiu and JM de Guzman are set to star together as the lead cast in the upcoming series “Linlang.”

ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment announced the four actors’ project together via teaser on the network’s YouTube channel yesterday, Oct. 21.

“Kung si Mister kayang manloko, si Misis, matinik magtago ng sikreto. Ihanda ang iyong mga puso sa bagong teleseryeng hindi ka pakakalmahin,” it teased. “Babasagin na ang tingin mo sa pagtataksil dahil ang akala mong totoo, isa palang panloloko. ‘Linlang’ coming this 2023.”

“Linlang” will be directed by Jojo Saguin and Manny Palo. Other actors in its cast are Ruby Ruiz, Jaime Fabregas, Raymond Bagatsing, Heaven Peralejo, Anji Salvacion, Vance Larena, Adrian Lindayag, Race Matias and Kice.

Soriano first teased “Linlang” last month by showing herself with the directors and other creatives of Dreamscape Entertainment. The series is the Diamond Star’s newest teleserye since the 2021 drama series “Ang sa Iyo Ay Akin,” in which she starred alongside Jodi Sta. Maria, Iza Calzado and Sam Milby.

Earlier this year, Soriano was also confirmed to star in the international romantic-comedy film “Re-Live: A Tale of an American Island Cheerleader.”  /ra
