Manly’s big Turbo call ahead of Titans clash
Tom Trbojevic has been ruled out of the Sea Eagles’ clash against the Titans after failing a fitness test.
Late in Manly game’s against the Tigers on Sunday, the injury-plagued Trbojevic limped from the field at Campbelltown Sports Stadium with what appeared to be a groin injury.
Scans later revealed the adductor injury.

In a statement, the club said the decision was part of a “conservative approach” to Trbojevic’s recovery.
“Trbojevic underwent a final fitness test at training this morning but the club decided to take a conservative approach to ensure the brilliant fullback is back next week to take on the Brisbane Broncos in Magic Round,” the statement read.
Kaeo Weekes will instead line up at fullback.
Trbojevic has spent much of the past three years fighting hamstring injuries, but managed to win the 2021 Dally M Medal, despite missing the first five matches.
In January, he flew to the USA to work with reconditioning guru Bill Knowles on his troublesome hamstrings.
The Sea Eagles sit third on the ladder with 11 points – three behind the Broncos. Their round nine opponents, the Titans, are 10th.
