Manchester United set Jadon Sancho return date following £73m transfer
Jadon Sancho is set for his first official day as a Manchester United player following his huge £73million move from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports.
United finally ended their lengthy pursuit of the winger last month, having been in intense discussions over a transfer for nearly two years.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted to sign Sancho to complete a devastating attacking line-up.
Sancho has arrived at Old Trafford for a reported initial fee of £73m but there is the potential for add-ons.
The England international was granted an extended holiday following his Euro 2020 exploits with the Three Lions.

United are expecting to confirm the arrival of Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane imminently, subject to a medical being completed and the final touches on personal terms being finalised.
Solskjaer has long desired an upgraded centre-back partner for Harry Maguire and will receive his top target when Varane signs.
The Frenchman will join United for a bargain £35m fee, with Real needing to sell to raise funds for new boss Carlo Ancelotti’s own transfer plans.
Solskjaer is planning even more deals in a bid to topple rivals Man City at the top of the Premier League.
The Red Devils finished as runners-up in the top-flight but were 12 points adrift of of Pep Guardiola’s side.
Solskjaer will hope that a big-spending transfer window will boost his team’s chances of success, having also been defeated by Villarreal in May’s Europa League final.
City are also trying to improve their squad in an attempt to fend off competition for a fourth title in five years.
The Premier League champions are reportedly close to signing Jack Grealish in a sensational £100m switch from Aston Villa, while Tottenham striker Harry Kane remains a target.
