Manchester United announces Qualcomm as its global partner – Times of India

English football club Manchester United has announced a multi-year global strategic collaboration with American chipmaker Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. The arrangement will feature the Snapdragon brand. Snapdragon platforms power many of the world’s premium smartphones, PCs, gaming devices, connected cars, smart wearables etc. and the brand is one of the most widely recognised and trusted ones in the chip industry.
As per Manchester United, “the strategic collaboration will create unique events and experiences for Manchester United fans at Old Trafford and around the world, powered by the premium performance that Snapdragon platforms deliver.”
Qualcomm Technologies “will advise Manchester United on planned improvements to mobile connectivity at Old Trafford, which will enhance fans’ experience on match days”, the football club said in a press statement.
