For the most part, this two-bedroom property is an average suburban home.
However, a look at photos of the terraced property online reveals an unexpected guest; a life-size mannequin sitting under the stairs.
The doll – dressed in a red dress, wide brimmed hat, fishnet tights and platform heels – is propped up on a futon in the hallway beneath the stairs.
Although the home has two bedrooms, a separate bed and sofa bed have been set up on the ground floor alcove, with the blonde-haired mannequin posed as if reclining on the couch.
The listing doesn’t mention the doll, simply describing a ‘mid terraced family home set in a popular location within 3.5 miles of the City Centre.’
Agents Henstock Property Services highlight gas central heating, UPVC double glazed windows, and the spacious yard out back, but nothing about the dummy.
There’s also no indication over whether she’ll be included in the sale, so it may be worth asking if you plan to purchase.
Aside from this, there’s a lot to love about the home.
The location makes it ideal for commuters into Manchester, while the roomy outdoor area including a shed and conservatory, large kitchen and multiple bathrooms offer bags of potential.
While some modernisation may be required, it’s priced competitively compared to the local average (according to Rightmove) of £205,838.
As long as you’re not afraid of dolls, it could be the place for you.
Check out the listing and enquire to view via Henstock Property Services.
