Man Utd have found their Antony replacement already after Chelsea win
Manchester United had gone into the game against Chelsea knowing they needed just a point to ensure a top four finish.
And Casemiro powered them ahead early on, with the Samba star rising to head home a pinpoint delivery from Christian Eriksen.
United suffered a blow when Antony was forced out of the contest, with the former Ajax star now a doubt for next month’s FA Cup final.
But they doubled their advantage through Martial just seconds before the interval, with the France international scoring his ninth goal of the season in the process, with Fernandes and Rashford also on target to make the result safe.
Express Sport now takes a look at four things we learned from the showdown at Old Trafford, with Joao Felix’s impressive goal not enough to earn his side anything from the game.

United find their Antony replacement already
When United signed Jadon Sancho back in the summer transfer window of 2021, they planned to use him as a right winger.
Since then the England international has played in a variety of different roles throughout his time at the club.
But there’s still a feeling he could yet to be an option in that position, having impressed there against Chelsea.
Sancho provided the assist for Martial’s goal and looked a threat playing in a position he’d previously fared well in at Borussia Dortmund.
Antony is a doubt for the cup final but there’s still hope another big money signing can deliver for the Red Devils as they look to stop Manchester City’s treble charge.
Glazers sent clear message
As the end of the season approaches, so too does an end to the takeover saga surrounding United.
Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are still waiting to see what the Glazers decide to do.
And United fans, once again, made it clear how much they want the American family to go by singing chants and unfurling banners.
They’re not the only group of supporters unhappy with their current owners, either.
There were also a few chants aimed at Todd Boehly from the Chelsea end, with the Blues toiling ever since he purchased the club from Roman Abramovich last year.

Martial so infuriating
When it comes to infuriating players, Anthony Martial is certainly up there.
The United star squandered two good chances against Chelsea while the Blues were only a goal down.
And he then went and scored before half time, saluting the crowd as he celebrated his strike.
Martial’s talent is clear for all to see and United have persevered with the striker for a number of years.
Whether he’s still leading the line next season, however, remains to be seen.
United need more signings
It was obvious before the game against Chelsea kicked off that United need more signings in the summer.
And that’s even more obvious now.
While they were able to cruise to victory, they’re still a team unable of operating at 100 per cent throughout an entire game.
United need another midfielder, despite Eriksen, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes playing well enough.
And they’re crying out for an upgrade on Martial, with Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and Dusan Vlahovic all on the club’s radar.
