Man Utd boss Ten Hag holds talks with every player and Sancho given warning
A deflating FA Cup final defeat at the hands of rivals Manchester City highlighted the improvements Ten Hag’s side need to compete with the treble winners. Sancho is one of several players at a crossroads in their United careers and could be sold this summer to make room for replacements.
The Sun have reported that the United boss told Sancho that he ‘must prove he can be a key figure’ in the rebuild progressing at Old Trafford. They also report that the United boss held ‘crunch talks with every player’ with the Dutchman telling them how he sees them fitting into his plans.
A source told the newspaper: “He believes that they can actually challenge for the title next season and win at least one major honour.” United reportedly want close to £60m to sell the England international during the summer transfer window if he makes way for fresh arrivals.

Last season Sancho was involved in 10 goals from 41 games and spent four months in the Netherlands. Tottenham have been linked with making a £50m swoop for the talented winger with new boss Ange Postecoglou a fan of the youngster.
United finished 14 points behind Premier League champions Manchester City last season and in a bid to bridge the gap Ten Hag could ruthlessly axe Scott McTominay and seven other players this summer. The 26-year-old was dubbed as the ‘future captain’ of United but has also struggled for consistent form playing 24 Premier League games last season.
