Man ‘laughed and said sorry after sexually assaulting woman on Tube’

A man reportedly ‘laughed and said sorry’ after sexually assaulting a woman on the London Underground.

British Transport Police is looking for a man in connection with the assault which happened on an escalator at Canada Water last month.

At around 4pm on October 20, the victim was travelling on the escalator down to the station’s platforms when a man travelling on the same escalator sexually assaulted her.

When she turned around to look at the man, he reportedly said ‘sorry’ and laughed.

BTP has released images of the man who officers believe may have information which could help their investigation.

In the images he is white with stubble and wearing a yellow puffer jacket, grey top, dark trousers and khaki boots, plus a black cap.
