Man in 20s stabbed in neck after ‘fight breaks out’ on Clapham Common

A man has been rushed to hospital as he is suspected of having been stabbed in the neck, following reports of a fight in Clapham this evening (Monday, April 18). The Metropolitan Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 7.26pm to reports of a fight in progress on Rookery Road, which crosses Clapham Common.

Emergency services attended the scene, finding a man in his 20s with a suspected stab injury to his neck and rushing him to hospital. They are awaiting an assessment of his condition. A crime scene is currently in place in the area, while the force’s enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing. It added that there have been no arrests at this time.
