A MAN caught on video by a member of the public drifting a Lexus on the public road has been sentenced.
The video was uploaded to Facebook by Swindon Police and has amazed people in the comments below.

Daniel Basset from Swindon was banned from driving after he was spotted driving recklessly in May of this year.
According to police, at one point he was sliding the wrong way around a roundabout.

In the video, Basset is seen drifting and doing doughnuts in his Lexus, putting other road users at risk.
The driver was charged with dangerous driving, had to attend rehabilitation appointments and was banned from driving for 15 months.
He was also sentenced to 200 hours of community work and to pay £85 court costs and a £95 surcharge.
Reflecting on the sentence, Wiltshire Police assistant chief constable Deb Smith said: “We welcome the sentence handed down to Bassett.
“His actions represented severely reckless behaviour and clear danger to those present and the wider public.
“Operation Staysail remains focussed on relentlessly pursuing those who are responsible for creating hazardous situations on our roads whilst participating in disruptive car meets.
“We will continue to seek the strongest possible sanctions in such cases.”
One man said: “Of course, he is good at drifting.
“Until he hits your family or a child..some people see what’s wrong but yet blind themselves to the truth.”
Another revealed: “Saw that car doing the same thing on South Marston roundabout a while back, nearly hit someone – was really scary seeing it close up.”
