Man, 25, stabbed to death in Brent named for the first time

The man stabbed to death in Brent last week has been named for the first time as police arrested a man on suspicion of murder. On Wednesday (June 1), emergency services rushed to the scene in the early evening after reports of a stabbing in Brent.

The man was found seriously injured by Met Police officers along with the London Ambulance Service on Henderson Close in Neasden around 6.30pm. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he died at the scene and he was declared dead at 7.15pm.

The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Devon Jensen-Wallace. His next of kin have been informed and are receiving support.

Jamal Grant, 30, of Pitfield Way, Neasden, has been charged on suspicion of Devon’s murder and for possession of an offensive weapon. He is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court today (June 7).

On June 1, police erected a forensics tent to collect evidence and try to build a picture of what happened. A long trail of blood was seen running around the neighbourhood following the incident. Traffic was blocked off so the investigation could be carried out.
