This comes after Shinkai’s latest film, Suzume, launched in India on April 21. The director, who has a significant fan following among the anime fandom in the country, visited India for a special screening, where he answered questions from fans in a special Q&A session. The film also received a Hindi dub as well as early fan screenings on April 9, a whole two weeks before the official nationwide release.
You can check out IGN’s review of Suzume here, as well as our recommendations of films to watch from the director before watching Suzume.
