MAFS UK star Nikita Jasmine takes social media break: ‘My heart feels heavy’
The reality star famously appeared on Married At First Sight last year where she repeatedly clashed with her partner before being removed from the E4 show after an explosive argument with another co-star.
Nikita, from County Durham, then tried to find love on Celebs Go Dating in January, but ended up on an awkward date with her friend’s ex.
On her Instagram stories, the lingerie model revealed she would not be posting on her social media accounts for a ‘couple of days’ because she needed to ‘digest’ what had happened during filming for a new show she’s ‘not allowed to speak about yet.’
She added: ‘It’s been a crazy week, my head is all over the gaff atm and my heart feels heavy so spending the weekend with my family and friends so I can relax, unwind and take it all in because too much has went on.’
In a passionate pep talk, Nikita then told her followers to ‘never let the opinions of others get to you’ because you’re an ‘amazing individual in your own way.’
She continued: ‘Although I love my job and appreciate every opportunity, it can be hard and sometime you can be put into situations which are out of your control as people in the industry will know and emotions can be very heightened.’
Describing herself as ‘fiesty’, Nikita said she has a ‘genuine heart’ and would ‘do anything’ for her loved ones before rounding up the post.
Nikita has previously slammed Celebs Go Dating expert Paul C Brunson, who was also one of the experts on Married At First Sight.
She lashed out at Paul for setting her up with ex-husband Ant Poole on MAFS UK, saying: ‘He matched me with my husband and he never listened for what I asked for.’
Speaking about her time on the social experiment show, Nikita said: ‘I basically married a stranger. He was a good-looking lad but personality-wise he was just dead. He had no banter at all.’
‘We had loads of barneys, we disagreed on stuff, it was a bit of a shambles if I’m honest with you.’
