Madonna’s jaw-dropping net worth as star ‘leaves strict rules’ after health woes

Madonna is said to have left strict rules about her fortune following her hospitalisation with a bacterial infection last month.

The 64-year-old is believed to have a jaw-dropping fortune of $580 million dollars.

Madonna’s net worth comes as no surprise given her successful career, which has spanned four decades.

The musician has sold over 300 million records worldwide and has been the top-earning female musician 11 times.

As well as her global success as a singer, Madonna has an eye-watering bank account for many other reasons.

The Queen of Pop has appeared in many movies, has directing credits to her name and has also made money through lifestyle projects such as her Truth or Dare perfume, which earned her a reported $60 million.

It is said Madonna also banked an estimated $10 million for her Material Girl clothing line and shoe line.

In February 2014, Madonna launched a successful skincare range called MDNA Skin.

Additionally, away from the spotlight, the mother-of-six owns numerous properties all over the world.

Just last month, she sold her mansion in California after listing it more than a year ago.

The Vogue singer reportedly sold the property for $23.5 million, giving her an almost $4 million profit.

Following her recent health woes, Madonna is reportedly looking into the handling of her legacy and estate.

According to The Sun, Madonna wants to divide the rights to her songs equally among her six children.

The musician is mum to; Lourdes, 26, Rocco, 22, David, 17, Mercy James, 16, and 10-year-old twins Estere and Stelle.

This decision may be in place to prevent any potential family dispute over her fortune.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Madonna for comment.

In 2022, she revealed she would never sell the rights to her songs, like some big artists do for a huge profit.

At the time, she told Variety: “They’re my songs. Ownership is everything, isn’t it?”

Instead, the songstress said creating new music or re-releasing older hits with a new element could be beneficial instead.

Madonna was due to kick off her worldwide The Celebrations tour and perform her greatest hits this month.

Following her recent hospitalisation however, her manager announced that all commitments had been postponed.

The singer has since broken her silence and said she is hoping to be begin the shows in Europe from October.

She added that gigs cancelled before this date will be rescheduled.

The tour is expected to be a sell out and just as successful as her last Sticky & Sweet tour in 2009.

At the time, reports suggested she earned $407.7 million after 3.5 million tickets were sold.

As part of a lengthy statement, Madonna also thanked her fans for their supportive messages as she continues to recover.

The singer was spotted back on her feet again in New York by a fan last week.
