Lucky holidaymaker goes viral in videos showing a whole cruise ship to himself

A MAN went viral after he posted a video appearing to be the only passenger on a cruise ship.

Holidaymaker Blake Rosier has claimed to have a cruise ship all to himself in a recent video on TikTok – although a number of people are unconvinced.

A man went viral after he posted a video appearing to be the only passenger on a cruise ship.

In the footage, Blake can be seen standing in a hot tub on the deck of the cruise ship.

He said: “As some of you know, I’m on this cruise ship completely alone.

“I am the only guest on this ship besides the crew, of course, who have been attending to me.

“This cruise has been insane, I don’t even know how this happened exactly.

“They even have a movie playing for just me, all the shows are still going, the pools are open.

“It’s literally just me here, it’s truly insane and it’s been amazing.

“I just had a huge dinner in a dining hall with no one else.”

As Blake panned the video around the deck, no other guests could be seen or heard, leaving many people online to believe he was the only passenger.

The video has been watched more than 450k times on the social media platform.

People on TikTok loved the video, with someone saying: “An introvert’s dream.”

Another added: “That’s the only appealing cruise I’ve ever seen.”

But others weren’t convinced that Blake was the only holidaymaker on the ship.

One person wrote: “You’re on a cruise and it’s 3 am and everyone else is asleep.”

Another added: “He’s kidding. It’s in the middle of the night so everyone is sleeping.”

And others even speculated that he was a “billionaire” who’d paid for the entire cruise.

Given the cost of running an entire cruise ship, it is highly likely that the TikTok videos are a prank and that the trip was not running for a single person.

While the bold claim appears to have divided opinions, holidaymakers have been known to be the only passengers on commercial flights.

Earlier this year, passenger Robbie Allen was travelling from Sydney to Fiji with Virgin when he realised he would be the only passenger on the plane.

Known as ghost flights, it can often happen when a plane needs to reroute to another destination even if there are no passengers onboard, and the airline needs to keep the scheduled route.

Like Blake, Robbie also shared his journey on TikTok and joked that he was on his own “private jet”.
