The couple met while filming for ITV’s Love Island and were together for around ‘two months’ before she texted him to call it quits.
Chatting to her 1.5million followers on Instagram, the former islander, 24, was responding to a question that prompted her to reveal what really went on with her ex-beau and two-time villa resident Adam, 27.
Paige and Adam reportedly split just months after leaving the show together following the emergence of footage that depicted the personal trainer with his arms around another woman in a McDonald’s.
Claiming she didn’t want to ‘bash him’, the brunette beauty revealed the star had a difficult period dealing with things once the news of their relationship breakdown hit the press.
At the time, Adam admitted to The Sun that he was in the wrong when he put his arms around another girl but ‘it was all misinterpreted’.

She continued on to tell the full story of why she decided to end things with Adam.
‘Obviously, everyone was aware of all the videos and pictures coming out of him and his arms around other girls in nightclubs and whatever on his PAs,’ she said.
Paige then said she was willing to ‘put them behind [her] and move on’ but further footage landing in her DMs was too much for the paramedic to overlook.
‘I was getting sent more videos of him on nights out that didn’t go viral and that were just really shady and I wasn’t comfortable in it,’ she explained.
The fourth-place winner confirmed it wasn’t the type of relationship she wanted to be a part of: ‘I want to be 100% certain my guy is only about me and isn’t accessible to anybody else.’
Ultimately she revealed it wasn’t something the pair could see eye to eye on and once Adam left the UK for Bali, their communication dwindled to a point that forced Paige to make a decision.
She said: ‘I just text him and was like this is dumb, this isn’t working, we’re not even talking whilst you’re on holiday.
‘It’s clear that something has shifted between us so let’s just call it a day.’
The paramedic revealed her then-boyfriend made no attempts to fight for their relationship and admitted it was obvious they were not going to be able to resolve anything.
Paige ended the update by emphasising there was ‘no bad blood’ between the former lovers and that they both remain happy – albeit living separate lives.
