Love Island star Maura Higgins ramping up security after home raided
Love Island star Maura Higgins is set to ramp up security at her home after it was targeted by raiders.
Those closest to the reality television star say she was left “shaken” after the three masked men ripped down the gates at her complex and tried to pinch a number of vehicles. According to The Sun, Essex Police attended the address last Wednesday after the gang shook the gates down.
An insider said: “Maura has lived in her gated community for three years and said she no longer feels safe.
“There are a number of high-profile names in that complex and living in that area. It is worrying for everyone, including Maura.”
The source said Maura is now planning to up security around both her home and her car.

The Sun says the property is in an area of Essex popular with celebrities. Stars including Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan also call the area their home.
Maura, 32, found fame on Love Island where she coupled up with dancer Curtis Pritchard in 2019. She has since carved herself a career as a TV presenter.
She can often be seen on ITV’s This Morning as well as the BBC show Glow Up Ireland.
Maura’s representatives have not yet spoken out about the raid on her home.
