Love Island – Gemma Owen and Ekin-Su are not getting on

Tonight’s episode of Love Island saw two new bombshells enter the villa and already one of the girls is causing tension in the house.

Ekin-Su and Afia both joined the islanders at the same time but not before they each had a date with Liam Llewellyn. During the dates, each of the girls showed their flirty side before the trio went to meet the rest of the housemates.

Once inside the girls, attempted to get to know the rest of the islanders. But even during the pleasantries, Ekin-Su managed to upset Gemma.

The issue arose when Ekin Sue made a comment that Gemma thought was ‘patronising’. Ekin-Su told Gemma that she reminded her of a ‘little sister’ who she could ‘take under her wing’.

Gemma was visibly annoyed by the comment. She even went as far as to tell the other girls that she felt Ekin-Su had patronised her.

The comment did not go unnoticed by viewers. Some found it more amusing than Gemma. One user even tweeted a picture of a mother pushing a baby, captioning the post “Ekin-Su and Gemma”.

Ashley Bailey (@msashleybailey) added: “Gemma not liking how Ekin-Su addressed her but she’s going round telling everyone but EkinSu? #LoveIsland.”

But the drama between Gemma and Ekin-Su seemed to escalate, with the newcomer openly flirting with Gemma’s partner in the show Davide.

Gemma meanwhile has already dumped Liam for Davide earlier in the series, but seems to be looking to move on again. Following a game of dares, Luca pulled Gemma aside for a chat and they head to the rooftop.

During the conversation, Gemma told him: “I am attracted to you. I definitely would want to get to know you.”

Luca meanwhile seemed keen to reciprocate her feelings. He said: “You stare into my eyes and I just want to stare into yours!”
