Love Island fans ‘genuinely terrified’ for Jess as Mitchel lays it on thick
The gas engineer,, 26, has had a pretty interesting time in the villa so far after originally being coupled up with Molly Marsh, and is currently in a friendship couple with bombshell Leah Taylor.
In Friday’s episode, Mitch stunned his fellow islanders after revealing he’s got his eye on Jess much to Sammy Root’s annoyance.
Following her spat with Sammy, the aesthetics practitioner, 25, was seen getting to know Mitch on a romantic level.
However, Mitchel’s, ahem, unique way of flirting has left viewers convinced that Jess should steer clear.
Comparing the islander to fictional You stalker, one fan tweeted: ‘Mitchel or Joe Goldberg i genuinely cannot tell the difference.’
‘Has Mitchel ever been in a couple where the girl wasn’t being held against her will?’ another joked.
Things weren’t looking too good for Jess and Sammy after she called him out for branding his connection with Leah ‘a test.’
After shouting at each other before coming to an agreement Sammy then demanded that Jess ‘give him a smile’ so things could end on a good note.
Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, fans weren’t too pleased after Whitney Adebayo apologised for giggling during Mehdi Edno’s recoupling speech.
Tomorrow’s preview confirmed that the drama is far from over as Jess and Sammy’s fallout continues, and host Maya Jama rocks up to the villa with some news.
All will be revealed soon.
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
