The report claims Liverpool are developing a ‘close relationship’ with the superstar’s inner circle, which could ultimately prove significant in the congested chase for his services. It has also been suggested that the framework of a potential deal to bring him to Anfield may already be advancing.
Dortmund reportedly value Bellingham at £131m, a steep rise from the £85m it was previously thought would lure him from the Westfalenstadion. And his jaw-dropping transfer fee, which could only rise if his stock soars during England’s involvement at the World Cup, could provide Liverpool’s rivals with the hope of stealing a march.
