Live updates from NHL Stanley Cup Finals Game 3
THE first period has ended and we have a tie game 1-1 as Brandon Montour scored a goal after a breakaway from the Panthers and with four minutes remaining Mark Stone cashed in a goal.
Florida Panthers are attempting to cut into the Vegas Golden Knights’ 2-0 lead.
Vegas has dominated the series thus far outscoring Florida 12 goals to four in the first two games.
The Golden Knights are seeking their first Stanley Cup since joining the NHL as an expansion team in the 2017 season.
Like Vegas, the Florida Panthers are also seeking their first Stanley Cup.

The Florida Panthers just squandered their third Power Play opportunity.
After going up 1-0 early in the first period it’s now the Vegas Golden Knights who look like the sharper team.

For most of the first period, the Florida Panthers dominated the shots on goal.
But the Golden Knights’ offense has taken over scoring seven shots on goal to the Panthers’ five.
Despite having more shots on goals the game is still tied five minutes into the second period.

With four minutes remaining though Mark Stone smashed a goal and tied up a back-and-forth Game 3.

Two multigoal scorers in Game 2
