LIVE: Fittler ‘feels sorry’ for battling Tigers
The winless Wests Tigers will face another almighty test today when they face off against the Parramatta Eels at CommBank Stadium.
With Parramatta one of the form sides of the competition and currently locked in the top four, rugby league legend Brad Fittler believes it’s going to be a tough afternoon for the away side.
“They’re (Tigers) under the pump,” Fittler told Wide World of Sports’ Freddy & Joey’s Tips earlier in the week. “I feel sorry for them.
“No Junior Paulo [for the Eels], but Reagan Campbell-Gillard has been outstanding. Dylan Brown, when he plays well he triggers them off. They will win.”
Andrew Johns added he’s confident it’s going to be a tough match for the Tigers, continuing, “day game, Eels flying – Eels [to win].”
Ahead of this afternoon’s clash, Tigers coach Michael Maguire has brought back winger Ken Maumalo.
Maumalo’s inclusion shifts Starford To’a to the centres and Luke Garner to the bench.
Along with Maumalo, James Roberts also returns and will slot in the centres.
Maguire has also opted to shift under-fire playmaker Luke Brook to five-eighth, with Jackson Hastings returning from suspension to take on the No.7 jersey.
