Lisa Armstrong reacts to supportive tweet after swipe at ex Ant McPartlin’s wedding day

Lisa Armstrong, 44, had taken a swipe at her ex-husband Ant McPartlin, 45, yesterday as she liked a tweet from a follower on Twitter who mentioned Hampshire’s bad weather. The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! host was tying the knot to his former PA Anne-Marie Corbett in the leafy village of Heckfield, Hampshire.

The telly star hailed his “beautiful” wife at their celeb-packed nuptials at St Michael’s Church.

Yet while they wed, and later partied the night away at a lavish reception at Heckfield Place, make-up artist Lisa’s pals were quick to surround her with love.

One tagged her into a Tweet which read: “Sending lots of love sweetheart, have a fabulous day,” with the message being sent in the evening.

They added heart and hug Emoji icons as well as a rainbow and a kiss.

The former couple’s £31M divorce was finalised in April 2020 after a long legal battle – including custody of their beloved dog Hurley.

Meanwhile, Lisa has been enjoying a luxury hotel break with her lover.

The 44-year-old, and beau James Green, 38, checked into five star Pale Hall Hotel on the edge of Snowdonia in Wales.

She posted a snap of their bed with the caption: “Well, if it was good enough for Queen Victoria it’s a yes from me!!!”
