No doubt it’d be infuriating to walk, drive or bus it all the way there only to find the shop’s closed earlier than you were expecting, or your early morning dash was a tad too early.

Lidl opening times for Spring bank holiday Monday 2023
Lidl opening times on bank holiday Monday will be slightly shorter for many shoppers.
The best way to check your local Lidl’s adjusted opening hours is to go online and use Lidl’s store finder.
Just click the blue ‘store search’ button and input your postcode or town/city, tap the search symbol and up will pop your nearest Lidls. Click on your chosen store and press ‘opening hours’.
There, you’ll see its usual times, as well as any ‘holiday hours’ you should be aware of.
Generally speaking, many Lidl shops in England and Wales will operate slightly reduced hours of 8am to 8pm – closing earlier than the typical 10pm.
There are several London shops, however, that won’t be operating bank holiday hours, opting for their usual Monday opening times instead.
These include:

- 189 Clapham Road – 7am to 10pm
- Massinger Street – 8am to 10pm
- 56-60 & 64 Denmark Hill – 7am to 10pm
- 71-73 Acre Lane – 8am to 10pm
- Falcon Lane – 7am to 11pm.
In Scotland, Lidl shops will typically stay open for their usual hours.
Often, this will be 8am to 10pm, though it does vary by store – we’ve seen some open at 7am, others close at 9pm, etc.
Again, to ensure Lidl will be open when you get there, it’s always best to check on the supermarket’s store finder.
