Liam Payne unveils new face tattoo and hairstyle during London outing

Liam Payne, 29, surprised fans with his latest inking, a small face tattoo on his right cheek and below his eye, while out and about in London.

The former One Direction star looked comfortable and casual as he stepped out for dinner in baggy jeans and an oversized t-shirt ensemble.

Photographs of the Strip That Down hitmaker showed him looking serious but relaxed as he put his crowded tattoo sleeves on display.

The new face tattoo – placed above his right cheekbone – was accompanied by a single beaded braid on the same side.

It comes after Payne got candid about his time in a Louisiana rehab centre in a new video uploaded to his YouTube channel.

“Sorry for [being] MIA,” he began in a video entitled ‘I’m Back’.

“You guys know there’s a few reasons why I did that and I just needed to take a little bit of time out for myself.

“I kind of became somebody who I didn’t recognize and I’m sure you didn’t either.”

Payne was apologetic to his fans as he shared his recent experience in the Lousiana centre.

He said it was a “wonderful place” that helped him “get [his] head straight.”

“I was in bad shape up to that point,” he continued.

“I was really happy more than anything when I arrived to kind of put a stopper on life and work. I didn’t have my phone for nearly 100 days.

“I didn’t connect to the outside world at all and it was kind of prepping me for that moment.

“Upon leaving was actually the hardest point was turning the phone back on… because it was a little bit scary.”
