Liam Gallagher had viewers in stitches as he poked fun at a young Manchester United fan during the FA Cup final.

The Oasis star, 50, was joined by 23-year-old son Lennon in the stands at London’s Wembley Stadium to watch Man Utd take on Manchester City.

It was a great day to be a City fan, as captain Ilkay Gundogan scored a goal after just 13 seconds in what was the fastest score in FA Cup final history.

Pep Guardiola’s Premier League champions went on to lift the trophy with a 2-1 victory – much to Liam’s joy.

One person who wasn’t so thrilled to see City score, however, was a young boy in a United kit.

And Liam was on hand to make sure he rubbed salt in the wound, actually targeting the youngster and playfully taunting him as his team triumphed over their rivals.

In footage captured by the BBC, the Wonderwall hitmaker can be seen celebrating with the crowd before grabbing the child by the shoulders and joking around.

He didn’t stop there though, as Liam proceeded to climb over his friends to get closer to the young boy and wind him up.

The child was absolutely raging, going in to throw some punches at the Manchester-born celeb, who had the biggest grin on his face.

Needless to say, Twitter was living for the hilarious interaction.

‘This is spectacular’, one tweeted alongside the clip of Liam’s savagery.

‘Gone up in my estimations even more, what a bloke’, another wrote.

‘Liam’s wonderful. God bless him’, another wrote, alongside a series of crying laughing emoji.

‘this is the funniest thing i’ve seen today’, one person tweeted.

Liam wasn’t the only celeb in attendance at today’s big game.

David Beckham and his sons Brooklyn and Cruz were also spotted in the stands – and it’s a good job Liam was nowhere near them too!

Of course, Becks is a United fan, having kicked off his own footie career with the team at the age of 17.

He and his sons went through a range of emotions during the game, as their celebrations didn’t last long.

The trio were seen cutting glum figures after being defeated.

But, it’s not the winning that matters, it’s the taking part… right?
