South Korean actor Lee Je-hoon said that aside from trying Filipino dishes such as adobo and sinigang, he is looking forward to visiting Manila Bay during his stay in the Philippines.

The “Taxi Driver” star, who’s currently in the country for his fan meet on Friday, shared some of the activities he is planning to do during his visit, in a press conference on Thursday, March 2.

“He really [wants] to try adobo and sinigang and he wants to go to Manila Bay, [visit] some attractions and have fun there,” his translator said. “He [also] found that beaches in the Philippines are really beautiful and he wants to go there. He wants to walk on the beach, have great food and enjoy the landscape of the Philippines.”

Lee Je-hoon also said he was overwhelmed by the support he received from Filipino fans, and wants to maximize his time interacting with them while in the country.

Meanwhile, the actor was also asked what Korean drama series he would want to be part of if given the chance, to which he answered the award-winning series “Squid Game.” Lee Je-hoon revealed that he wanted to audition for a role in the said series but couldn’t because of his tight schedule.

Aside from “Taxi Driver,” Lee Je-hoon is also known for his roles in the series “Signal” (2016), “Tomorrow, with You” (2017) and “Move to Heaven” (2021), among others.  /ra
