Leaked images of Reliance Jio Phone 5G reveals display details; tipped to price under ₹10,000

Reliance Jio is set to release the Jio Phone 5G in the near future, and recently leaked images have emerged online, courtesy of tipster. The upcoming smartphone from Jio is likely to boast a distinctive dark blue color scheme, with a pill-shaped camera module positioned on the rear, as per the images.

The camera setup is expected to consist of a 13-megapixel AI camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera, accompanied by a separate cutout for the LED flash.

In addition to revealing the back of the phone, the Twitter post from tipster Arpit Patel, also provides a glimpse of the front side. The image indicates a vertically elongated display, likely around 6.6 inches in dimensions.

Moreover, the front panel is likely to boast a waterdrop notch, which is a popular design choice for smartphones priced below 10,000. It is anticipated that the Jio Phone 5G will fall within this price range as well.

According to Patel, it is likely that the Jio Phone 5G will be equipped with either a Dimensity 700 SoC or a Unisoc 5G chipset. The front panel is speculated to feature a 5-megapixel camera. Furthermore, he mentioned in his tweet that the device is expected to be launched during the festive seasons of Diwali or New Year.

While specific details about other specifications are currently unknown, a report from India Today suggests that the smartphone is anticipated to operate on a customized Android operating system known as Pragati OS, which has been developed through Jio’s collaboration with Google. Reliance might also provide certain advantages to current Jio users in terms of data benefits.

Moreover, Reliance is already allowing users to experience its high-speed 5G internet without any charges. To avail of this offer, customers simply need to ensure that they are using an eligible Jio prepaid plan.
