Lauren Goodger had to take her toddler Larose to hospital after a health scare this weekend.

The former Towie star, 36, is a mum to Larose, 23 months, while her father is Charles Drury.

Charles, 25, is also the dad of Lorena, who sadly died after birth last July.

Lauren shared an update with her fans on Saturday (June 10), saying she knew eldest Larose was ‘poorly’ and decided she needed medical attention.

Sharing a photo to her Instagram Story, the reality TV favourite cosied up to her little one in bed as they ate strawberries and grapes.

‘My poor bubs got tonsillitis’, she wrote.

‘Seen doctor this morning as I knew she was poorly…

‘So on the hottest day we are [in] bed all day with the fan on, fruit, cold drinks and lots of cuddles’.

Thankfully, little Larose is on the road to recovery.

‘They gave her antibiotics so [she’s] on the mend’, Lauren added.

In a second post, she filmed herself cuddling her daughter and rubbing her hand sweetly.

‘My world here’, Lauren wrote.

It’s no secret that Lauren has had a tough time of things over recent years.

In March, she marked her first Mother’s Day since the death of baby Lorena, a tragic event that forced Lauren out of the spotlight as she stopped eating and became consumed by stress.

Then in April, she suffered fresh heartache when her grandad died.

‘Today we said goodbye to grandad Ken’, she wrote on her Instagram Story after his funeral.

‘Was a beautiful send off for you’, she wrote.

‘Thoughts are with family today and very proud of all the childhood memories I have with you’.

‘Heaven takes another angel’, she concluded solemnly.

And most recently, past trauma resurfaced when her ex-boyfriend’s cause of death was revealed.

Jake McLean died while holidaying in Bodrum, Turkey last year on July 3.

He was with his then-girlfriend and Towie cast member Yazmin Oukhellou when he lost control of their car and drove off a cliff.

Yazmin was also seriously injured and taken to hospital but, despite the best efforts of emergency services, her boyfriend could not be saved.

This week, an inquest revealed that McLean was under the influence when the fatal collision happened.

When McLean, 33, lost control of his Mercedes E-class that ultimately landed upside down in a ravine near the Turkish city, he was nearly three times over the drink-drive limit and on cocaine.

The documents also listed his medical cause of death as ‘traumatic head injuries’.

Lauren and McLean were in a relationship on and off for four years after meeting in 2012.

One year later – in 2013 – they were expecting a child together, however, Lauren tragically suffered a miscarriage.

They separated for good in 2016.
