Latest iPhone leaks suggest that iPhone 14 Pro might come with 8GB RAM
Apple leaks are quite popular amongst fans across the globe as the hype for its products is just insane. The latest leaks are around their most anticipated product every year, the iPhone. According to the information that has been revealed the new iPhone 14 Pro models are all set to have 8GB RAM, for the first time in Apple’s history.
As reported by macrumors.com, the iPhone 14 Pro with 8GB RAM leaks comes from a Korean Blog called, Naver. A leaker that goes by the username ‘yeux1122’ posted on the blog about the new iPhone’s memory components being confirmed and an order for the required parts has been sent. The post also mention that the mass production of the device also seems to be moving faster.
The famous leaker, ‘yeux1122’ gained his fame by correctly predicting the new iPad Mini release time frame and chassis before the release. Considering his track record, these rumors could very well stand true. The previous iPhone Pro Models, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro sport 6GB of RAM, and according to the leak the upcoming model will receive a 2GB upgrade for their RAM. This is the first time that Apple is releasing a smartphone with a significant RAM upgrade. The only other device that has provided 8GB of RAM in Apple’s product line is the iPad Pro, which has two variants with 8GB RAM and 16 GB RAM respectively. There are no leaks about the RAM of the non-Pro models, therefore people will have to be patient for more information to be revealed.
Other than the RAM, there are a few more leaks and rumors surrounding the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro. One of the main issues that users have with Apple is the notch, and it seems that it will be reduced significantly this time around by turning it into a pin-hole display, but this leak has come out with every release of a new iPhone. Other rumors suggest that iPhone 14 Pro might be getting a 48-megapixel sensor which will be feasible with the RAM upgrade. Also, Apple might be dropping physical simcards, and switch to esim system only with their upcoming line of smartphones.
