Lady in red: Kate Middleton steps out in chic coat for a drink with William
Kate Middleton cut a chic figure as she headed for a drink with her husband this afternoon.
They’ll be chatting with a range of representatives who work in the hospitality sector in businesses around the West End to learn all about all the work that’s going into planning for the coronation weekend.
Marking their first public appearance of this monumental week, Kate, 41, is wearing a long red Eponine London Tulip coat with a high collar over a white midi dress and high heels, and holding a white purse.
The Princess’s coat, an archive piece that you can still have custom-made if you’re so inclined, has a blue lining, making her outfit a nod to the Union Jack flag – perfect for a coronation week, wouldn’t you say?
At the end of last month, the royal couple shared a more laid-back photo on their official Instagram to celebrate their 12th anniversary.
In it, Kate wore a summery broderie anglaise blouse and simple denim skinny jeans.
The Mabel Shirt, which went for £225 from M.I.H. Jeans, was also worn by the Princess back May 2019 on a visit to the Back to Nature Garden, and on a Zoom call for Volunteers Week in 2020.
