Lady Gabriella Windsor, 42, married Thomas Kingston, 43, in 2019 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
The couple married exactly four years ago on May 18, and Gabriella wore a gorgeous Luisa Beccaria wedding dress.
After several years of courtship, Lady Gabriella and Thomas got engaged in August 2018 on the Isle of Stark.
Their wedding anniversary also happens to be the day before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding anniversary.
Luisa Beccaria opened up to Vogue about creating Lady Gabriella’s dress: “She didn’t want to go too much into the past and do something so formal.

“We tried to incorporate a little bit of tradition, though. She wanted to be spontaneous.
“She didn’t want too much volume in the dress, so it’s quite skinny in the front, which helps to show her real figure and body. Then, in the back, there is a long train.”
The designer is said to be very good friends with Gabriella’s parents, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.
Because of this, the 42-year-old often wore Luisa’s designs and naturally loved them enough to ask the designer to create her bridal gown.
According to reports, Gabriella was hesitant to go with one of Luisa’s designs for her wedding, because as a British royal, she would have been expected to wear a British designer by those in royal circles.
But Luisa said that Gabriella eventually texted her saying: “I would love for you to help me do my entire wedding.”
Luisa’s designs champion the fact they are modern and also comfortable to wear, which was likely a huge incentive for Gabriella.
An interesting fact about the dress is that it was made with numerous additional layers of blush and cream organdy tulle.
Therefore, Gabriella’s wedding dress was not just white as it featured layers of blush material.
Blush was also added to the royal’s veil, which created a stunning overall bridal look.
The designer said: “She was scared to do something [that was] too much. But she wanted something modest and not that obvious.”
The bride completed the look with a six-meter veil fastened with a Russian Fringe tiara that belonged to Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark.
Princess Marina was Gabriella’s grandmother, who tied the knot with Prince George, Duke of Kent, the fourth son of King George V of England, in 1934. Her dress was the inspiration for Gabriella’s gown.
Luisa commented: “When she married in the 1930s, she wore the most incredible tiara. [As a result,] we decided to leave Lady Ella’s dress very simple in the front.
“And she wanted long sleeves and embroidery that goes over the hand, like a glove.”
