Kylian Mbappe has remained in contact with a number of Premier League clubs as speculation over his future continues to build.

The French superstar this week informed Paris Saint-Germain he has no intention of extending his current contract at the club, which expires nest summer.

While there is a clause to extend that by a further 12 months, Mbappe has no plans to do so, a decision which has infuriated the French giants.

Facing the prospect of losing him for nothing next summer, PSG plan to sell the 24-year-old this summer if he does not commit to a new contract.

PSG have now begun looking for potential buyers for Mbappe, L’Equipe report.

Real Madrid are expected to reignite their efforts to sing the forward having come close to landing him last summer until a last minute U-turn that saw him remain in France.

But the report suggests a move to the Premier League is also an option.

Throughout his career, both as a youth player and after emerging as one of football’s best young talented at Monaco, Mbappe has been the subject of interest from English sides including Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

L’Equipe report the player has remained in contact with ‘several’ of those sides since.

Chelsea are one of the teams who have joined the race to sign him this summer and will try to tempt him to Stamford Bridge, despite the lack of European football on offer.

United will also be interested with reports this week suggesting they will lead the race for his signature should Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani complete his takeover at Old Trafford.

The subject of Mbappe’s club future has attracted attention from all quarters with French president Emmanuel Macron revealing he will personally attempt to convince him to remain in Paris.

Asked about Mbappe’s situation by RMC Sport, Macron replied: ‘I don’t have the scoop, but I will try and push for it.’
