Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard ‘kicked out’ of Boston airport after trying to sleep at gate following 9-hour delay

Kristen Bell, her husband Dax Sheppard and their two kids were tossed out of Boston’s Logan International Airport despite having nowhere to go when their flight was significantly delayed Wednesday.

The famous family had bought $600 worth of pillows and sheets to create makeshift beds on the floor of the airport after their flight was delayed nine hours and they could find no available hotels within 50 miles, according to the pair’s social media posts.

“Stranded at the Boston airport, 9 hours of delays,” Bell wrote on her Instagram story with a photo of her family and friends who were also traveling with them sitting at a gate.

The “Good Place” star said they were passing the time by playing Uno and Spades before they decided to hunker down with blankets and neck pillows — planning to stay the night after they learned their flight’s departure was moved to the next day.

“We made quite a home here,” the actress captioned a photo of herself standing in the airport with a toothbrush hanging out of her mouth.

Shepard posted an Instagram reel of the ordeal in which he noted there were “ZERO vacancies in the greater Boston area.”

In the video, Bell joked that she needs to take her shoes off “when I’m in my bedroom” as she removed her sneakers and walked onto a sheet they had laid out on the airport floor.

The camera then flips to Shepard, who is lying on the floor with a neck pillow and blanket, as the pair totals the amount of money they spent on pillows, blankets and sheets — roughly $600 between the two.

“Could have been a really nice hotel, but they’re all taken,” Shepard said of their spent money.

“It’s $600 a night to stay at Boston International Airport,” Bell replied, laughing.

But after getting themselves all cozy and ready to sleep, the actress said they wanted to stay but “were kicked out” with no place to go late at night.

All was resolved when they found a place to stay with friends of friends, she said.

“Thankfully we found friends of friends who offered us their attics and accepted us at 1am!!!!!!” she captioned a pic of the beds in the attic on Instagram.

Many social media users commented on Shepard’s post saying they were surprised celebrities had to deal with the same travel headaches as everyday people.

“I truly don’t mean this to be mean but I didn’t think this stuff happened to rich people,” one person commented with a laughing emoji.

“I love that you guys are just normal f—king people,” another wrote in a reply that got more than 6,000 likes.

One commenter imagined what an unbelievable scene it would be if they were another traveler in the airport.

“I’m just picturing walking through the Boston airport and seeing Dax and KB and family SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR,” she wrote.
