Kris Bernal fangirls over Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth
Even when she’s heavy with her first child, actress Kris Bernal didn’t pass up the chance to meet her idol Chris Hemsworth as she braved the crowd who gathered for his first meet and greet event in the country recently.
Bernal documented her first chance to meet Hemsworth via her Instagram page yesterday, June 12, showing off a video of it. One shows Hemsworth signing her “Thor” Funkopops.
“Akala ko puputok na ang panubigan ko, naiihi lang pala ako sa sobrang kilig kay @chrishemsworth,” she said in her caption. (I thought my water bag will explode, I was just feeling like urinating because I was so giddy to Chris Hemsworth).
Attending the event was no walk in the park for Bernal who is heavy with her first child.
“Gathered every ounce of my strength and energy to see Chris Hemsworth (Third trimester pregnant women understand how difficult it is to move at this stage) I arrived two hours earlier so I could get a chance to be in the front row of the VIP pit and brought our “Thor” Funkopops with me in the hopes that Chris would sign it! Walang tumatayo sa VIP pit pero sumugod talaga ako at sumiksik para makapag-pirma! ACHIEVED! Days before the event, I rewatched #Extraction1 as refresher! Fan yarn?!” she recalled.
She revealed that days prior to the event, “I joined the fan meet mechanics when I first saw the event poster on @netflixph, but I didn’t win!”
“I even contacted Netflix, but to no avail! Then, out of nowhere, media pals sent me an invitation! Huhu haha! Thank you! You know who y’all are!” she said.
Hemsworth was in the country for two days to promote his Netflix action project, “Extraction2” where he plays Tyler Rake. JMS
