Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker reveal they’re having a baby boy
Just a little over a week after announcing that they’re expecting their first child together, Kourtney Kardashian and musician husband Travis Barker revealed that they’re having a baby boy.
“The Kardashians” star and the Blink-182 drummer made the announcement via an Instagram video. In the video, Barker — with Kardashian seated on his lap — cued in the people behind the reveal by playing the drums, and some seconds later, pieces of blue confetti shot to the sky.
The husband and wife hugged and kissed, while friends excitedly celebrated the news of a baby boy Barker. Kardashian, in the video, seemed to not have an idea how the reveal was going to happen as you can hear her say, “I don’t know what’s happening, whatever you guys planned.”
Kardashian, on her Instagram Stories, shared how it might be her “mommy’s instinct” at work as she wore baby blue during the gender reveal party.
The party carried a concert or world tour theme, from the drum set during the reveal to the dedication area where guests can take a photo and leave a note to serve as “Tour Memories.”
There were also sweet goodies that showed music-related designs, and the event poster and the “All Access” pass resembled those of a rock band’s concert.
The couple officially got married in May last year, and announced that they are expecting their first child together via an Instagram video, in which Kardashian, during a Blink-182 concert, is seen holding a sign that says, “TRAVIS[,] I’M PREGNANT.”
With her pregnancy, the reality TV star is set to welcome her fourth child, following the birth of Mason, Penelope, and eight-year-old Reign — her children from her relationship with Scott Disick. Barker, on the other hand, has two children from his marriage with Shanna Moakler, son Landon and daughter Alabama. With Barker’s marriage to Moakler, he became a stepfather to Atiana, whose father is former professional boxer Oscar De La Hoya. EDV
