In a tweet, Radhakrishna said “We’re young, agile and dreaming big! Koo being built as the future of social media @kooindia. Your specific point on democratised verification already done btw.”
This was not the first time that Radhakrishna has reached out to Musk. Last month, Radhakrishna urged Musk to join the Indian social media and microblogging site.
“Hey Elon! Try us out @kooindia. We’re a decentralised approach to microblogging where we are giving a voice to the larger non English audience of the world and allow for the nuances of every country’s laws,” the CEO and co-founder of Koo tweeted.

On April 6, Koo announced that it has launched
voluntary self-verification for all users. The company said it is the first social media platform in the world to do so.

Any Koo user can now self-verify their profile on the platform by using their government-approved ID card. The platform said the move empowers users to prove the authenticity of their accounts on the platform, and will lend credibility to the thoughts and opinions that they share.
ETtech reported earlier this morning that Musk has suggested that
users of the microblogging platform’s subscription service Twitter Blue be given an authentication mark.
