King, Queen spoke about safety issues on Palace balcony: lip readers

The royal family gave each other a lot of lip service at King Charles’ coronation on May 6.

Lip readers have intricately deciphered what Charles, 74, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton said to each other at various parts of the historic ceremony.

When the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their way into Westminster Abbey just before the ceremony began, Middleton, 41, asked her husband to steal clear of her gown, according to an expert.

Professional mouth reader Jeremy Freeman told the Daily Star recently that she turned to the Prince of Wales, 40, and said, “Just mind the gown.”

William then comforted Middleton, and reportedly said: “Don’t worry I got [or caught] it.”

The couple both wore blue, red and white robes as well as formal attire for the lavish event.

Just hours later — once the religious service had concluded — the royal family joined the newly-crowned monarch and Camilla, 75, on the balcony of Buckingham Palace where they waved to the crowds below.

While the sovereigns were smiling cheerfully, Charles allegedly expressed regard for his wife.

Lip reader Elisabeth Taunton told the Mirror that a concerned Charles said: “I’m not going to get too close [to the front] so the fire service have to [run in] rescue me.”

Camilla then gestured to the side, telling the people to her left: “Move… move up, go on, come here, move up. She then pointed to her long gown and said: “Just drop it.”

When the pair were spotted arriving at the 1,000-year-old church just before the crowning commenced, they sat in their golden stagecoach.

The king seemed frustrated as he squatted with Camilla when they waited for the OK to enter the Abbey.

Mouth readers told the Daily Mail that Charles stated to his spouse: “I’m worried about time, I mean it’s been longer this time and, well, erm, I mean look! I know.”

Another lip reader alleged that he said something in a similar vein, noting: “We can never be on time. Yes, I’m … this is a negative. There’s always something.”

While millions of royal fans around the world tuned in to watch the enthronement’s broadcast, not everyone was happy to see the coronation unfold.

Shock jock Howard Stern ripped Charles and Camilla to shreds on his eponymous radio show earlier this week, slamming the $125 million event for being overly lavish.

“England’s got to get a grip on themselves,” the radio host, 69, said. “I understand maybe it brings in tourism, but Jesus H. Christ.”

“People are acting — the whole ceremony they’re acting like that f–king guy went to war or something and then beat up all the other people,” he said of the coronation circus.

“They’re like, ‘We swear our allegiance to you, and you’re a great warrior,’ ” the “Private Parts” author continued. “I mean the whole thing is f–king nuts and in this day and age.”
