Kim Kardashian’s video of son Saint meeting Lionel Messi is so wholesome
Kim Kardashian made sure her football-obsessed son Saint was front-row for Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami debut on Friday, and we’re totally jealous.
The Skims designer, 42, and her eldest son, seven, joined stars including Serena Williams, LeBron James and Victoria and David Beckham in the 20,000-strong crowd to watch the 36-year-old’s first game against Cruz Azul.
In simply iconic scenes, he scored the winning goal in the final moments, sealing his perfect debut in the US.
If that wasn’t enough excitement for young Saint, Kim shared a string of videos on Instagram, showing the moment he was lucky enough to meet his hero.
‘Best day of their entire lives,’ she captioned a clip on her story, showing the athlete stopping to take selfies with the youngster and his pal.
The next video saw the pair excitedly jumping after meeting the footballer, and watching on as pink fireworks filled the sky above the DRV PNK stadium.
This isn’t the first time the mom-of-four has made her son’s sporting dreams come true, as she took the youngster on a mini tour of Europe earlier this year, so that he could watch his favorites in action.
The pair were in the ground to watch Arsenal take on Sporting Lisbon in March, after which Bukayo Saka checked in with Saint for a FaceTime.
Yes, seriously.
‘Sorry, I missed you guys yesterday, they said that you was in the players lounge, I was gonna shout for you,’ he told the youngsters, who were in awe during the video call.
Along with Saint, Kim shares North, Chicago and Psalm with ex-husband Kanye West.
The former couple were married for six years before the Kardashians star filed for divorce in 2021.
In a new interview with Vogue Italia, she opened up about taking care of her young family, and keeping any negativity away from them.
‘If it’s something concerning my kids’ dad and I’m upset, I try not to show as much emotion,’ she told Vogue Italia in a candid chat.
‘I have to be ready to explain why I’m upset and it might not be appropriate for them to know.
‘There’s nothing worse than “You’ll understand when you’re older”. I don’t want to be that person.
‘But if I’m upset about other things that they can understand, I absolutely will show emotion and cry.’
