Kim Kardashian not ready to date yet after Pete Davidson split
The reality star started dating the SNL presenter after splitting from her husband Kanye West last year.
However, it wasn’t meant to be, and Kim and Pete parted ways this summer after nine months together.
After her two high-profile relationships, Kim has insisted she needs to be by herself and isn’t looking to rush into anything else.
When quizzed recently on what the future holds for her love life, Kim replied: ‘I’m just not ready,’ after confirming that she is, in fact, single.
During her appearance on Live With Kelly And Ryan on Monday, the presenters tried to give her advice, saying she needs to date a fellow ‘titan’ in their field, assuring her that ‘he is out there.’
The mum-of-four added: ‘You know what, I did say before, maybe I should try to date a doctor or a scientist or something,’ joking that ‘a bunch of attorneys’ might want to ‘reach out’ to her while she finishes law school.
But, Kim quickly clarified: ‘I’m not looking for anything.’
Host Ryan Seacrest then asked whether Kim – who shares North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm with rapper Kanye – can go out on a ‘normal date,’ due to how famous she is.
‘I don’t think so,’ she admitted. ‘It would have to be something set up at a friend’s house, something really chill, nowhere out in public. I just want chill.’
‘I’m not looking for anything,’ the Skims founder stressed once more, adding: ‘I think I really just need to be by myself and focus and finish school and be with my kids.’
Kim, 41, and Pete 28, raised more than a few eyebrows when they started dating late last year, especially when Pete revealed a number of tattoos dedicated to her on his body.
Pete met Kim’s young children and even appeared on her Hulu reality show, The Kardashians, and they seemed to be all loved up.
However, there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between the pair, who are yet to publicly comment on what went down during their break-up.
The lifestyle guru told E! News: ‘He’s having the time of his life.
‘This guy is a talented actor, a comedian, and who is a bon vivant at the same time. He’s fun.’
Martha’s comments come after one of Pete’s friends claimed that the former couple did not break-up mutually, and it was actually Pete who called things off, but it looks like we’ll have to wait for confirmation on that.
