Kia to open bookings for 2023 version EV6 from April 15
“For this year, we are focussing on importing more products to cater to the audiences who couldn’t get their hands on the premium car last year by expanding our dealer network,” Kia India MD & CEO Tae-Jin Park said.
The company, which had sold 432 units of EV6 in 2022, further said it plans to expand the 150 kW high-speed charger network from the existing 15 dealerships to all 60 outlets.
The five-seater EV6 comes with 77.4 Kwh lithium-ion battery with DC fast charging feature which, as per the company, can charge the car’s battery up to 80 per cent in just 18 minutes. It claims to have a 708 km driving range.
For safety, it has eight airbags. It has nifty features like safe exit assit that automatically activates child lock while a vehicle is approaching from the back, and rear-cross traffic avoidance assit that warns if a vehicle or a person is coming while reversing, and blind-spot collision avoidance assit that warns the driver while changing lanes if another vehicle is approaching from the rear.
Beside, it has top end features like dual LED headlamps, electric sunroof, 60:40 split rear seats, 19 inch alloy wheels, 12.3 inch curved touchscreen, and 14 speakers.
The Kia EV6 has all wheel drive mode system. It offers normal, sport and eco drive modes.
