Kia India to unveil three new cars in India next year. Here are details

Kia India is set to launch three new vehicles in the Indian market next year, according to Tae-Jin Park, Managing Director & CEO of Kia India. In an interview with ETAuto, Park confirmed that the Korean car manufacturer will introduce a locally manufactured recreational vehicle (RV) that will be available in both ICE and EV versions. While details about the RV are still scarce, it is likely that the ICE version will be launched first, with the battery-powered model following later.

In addition to the RV, Kia India is also expected to launch two other cars in India next year. The first is the Sonet facelift, which recently had its design leaked for the Chinese market. We anticipate similar design changes for the Indian version, including boomerang-shaped headlight clusters, new alloy wheels, and connected vertical tail lamps. The updated Sonet is also expected to offer new features such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, enhanced connected technology, seat ventilation, and possibly advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The second car to be launched by Kia India is the facelifted third-generation Carnival. This new version of the popular MPV boasts significant exterior changes compared to its predecessor. It now adopts Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design language, giving it a fresh and modern look. However, details about the interior styling of the 2024 Carnival facelift are yet to be unveiled.

Kia India’s plans for 2024 reflect the company’s commitment to the Indian market and its desire to offer a diverse range of vehicles to cater to different customer preferences. With the introduction of the RV, Sonet facelift, and Carnival facelift, Kia aims to strengthen its position in India’s competitive automotive industry.
