Rumours are doing rounds that Khalistani leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has been killed in a road accident. However, there is no official confirmation on it.
Unconfirmed reports claimed that Pannun died in a road accident on Highway 101 in the US. He had gone into hiding in the last few days following the deaths of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Paramjit Singh Panjwar and Sikh radical Avatar Singh Khanda

However, Sukhi Chahal, founder, CEO and editor-in-chief of The Khalsa Today, has denied the rumours, saying Pannun is “alive”.
“Regarding news about the alleged car accident in my neighbourhood in California and the death of SFJ’s Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, I would like to emphasise that the information is fake and false. I kindly urge everyone to refrain from spreading his misinformation,” Chahal tweeted.
Pannun rose to prominence by leading the Khalistan 2020 referendum campaign across various Western countries, garnering significant attention.
In 2020, the Indian government designated Gurpatwant Singh Pannun as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Reportedly, he has 22 cases against him including three sedition cases, according to a report in Times Now.
Reportedly, Pannun, who is one of the founders of Sikh For Justice (SFJ), hails from Khankot, a village in the Amritsar district of Punjab.
Khalistan Sympathiser Avtar Singh Khanda Dies in UK Hospital
On June 15, UK-based chief of the Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), Avtar Singh Khanda, who was the mastermind behind the violent incident at the Indian High Commission in London on March 19, passed away at Sandwell Hospital in Birmingham.
Khanda, also known as Ranjodh Singh, was a political asylum seeker in the UK and played a significant role in radicalising Sikh youth in support of the separatist movement for Khalistan. His father was a former KLF terrorist who was killed by security forces in 1991, and his mother was related to another KLF terrorist, Gurjant Singh Budhsingwala, who had strong links to the Pakistani deep state.
A week later, pro-Khalistan leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar was killed in a targeted shooting in Canada’s Surrey.
He was shot outside the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in the Punjabi-dominated Surrey city of British Columbia province, according to a report in the IANS. Nijjar was the president of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey.
