Kevin Costner, 68, and his wife, Christine Baumgartner, 49, are set to divorce 19 years after tying the knot at the actor’s Colorado ranch in 2004 following four years of dating.
Christine, who shares three children with the Silverado star, has now been spotted without her wedding ring while out in Santa Barbara, California – two days after she filed for divorce.
She was photographed while running errands wearing a stylish outfit consisting of white denim trousers, a tan V-neck top, and a denim jacket.
Baumgartner also donned a pair of brown-tinted Aviator sunglasses and a pearl bracelet as her accessories, but her diamond wedding ring was nowhere to be seen.
Recent reports say the designer filed to end their marriage on Monday (May 1), citing “irreconcilable differences”, asking for joint custody of their three children, Cayden, 15, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12.
A representative for the Hollywood star told TMZ: “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.
“We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
The Bodyguard and Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves actor, 68, confirmed to the outlet he would also be seeking joint custody of the children.
The couple began dating in 1999 shortly after Costner split from Bridget Rooney, with whom he has a son Liam, 27.
They briefly separated in 2003 but reunited the following year and married in Aspen, Colorado.
Their oldest son, Cayden, was born in May 2007 and their second son, Hayes, in February 2009. A year later, the pair welcomed their daughter, Grace.
Kevin is also a father to four other children from two prior relationships. During his first marriage to Cindy Costner, 66, the pair welcomed three kids: Annie Costner, 39, Lily Costner, 36, and son, Joe Costner, 35.
Kevin also had a son, Liam, 27, in 1996 during his relationship with Bridget Rooney.
