A Kensington penthouse has hit the market with a surprise inside – its own self-contained flat.
Up for £16million, the sprawling penthouse covers three floors and the bonus ‘flat-within-a-flat’ can be found on the first level.
The two-bed self-contained property also has its own dining room and kitchen, as well as two bathrooms.
The flat within the flat was previously used as staff quarters and covers 1,320 sq ft – which is considerably bigger than the average London home (860sq ft) on its own. But there’s potential for it to be rented out as a different property, or could be used as a ‘granny annexe’-style living space for a relative.
